The NCC offers personal training sessions to fit your needs for both Members and Non-Members. Work one-on-one with our Fitness Specialists developing and implementing a workout where the emphasis is on YOU! Get started on a new or improved workout routine today! Gain the knowledge and motivation you need to get started, or to keep working towards your personal goals. Sport specific training available upon request.

Zumba® Fitness

Zumba Fitness is the new latin dance workout sweeing the nation!. Join instructor Miriam Martinez for a free demo class on Thursday, May 22nd from 6:00 - 7:00pm. Classes will be added to the norcom community center schedule wednesdays, beginning 5/28/08 from 5:00-6:00pm. Blocks of class will be available upon request begining July 2008

Cardio-Kickboxing Classes
Certified Instructor: Stacey Metsikas
This wonderful new workout is for all ages and fitness levels. We will combine Body-Sculpting, (legs, arms and abs) with Pilates (core-strengthening). You will increase your energy and flexibility, improve your posture, and increase your lower back strength. Use of bands which will be provided is optional. Great Stress Reducer!

Yoga is an ancient practice that helps create a sense of union in body, mind, and spirit. It creates a toned, flexible, and strong body. Improves respiration, energy, and vitality. Yoga also promotes cardio and circulatory health while building awareness of your body.

Shotokan Karate for Adults
Certified Instructor: Mike Hearn
This Japanese form of self-defense has many benefits which include: increased self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-discipline, weight reduction, stress relief, muscular endurance and respect for others.
  • The fees for this class are included in a Platinum Membership.
  • Register at any time class begins on the first Thursday of every month; 4 Thursdays per session, 8:00-9:00 pm
Class Fee: $30 per four week session + $5.00 start-up fee
